CNN is running a story about one faction already boycotting the Afghan accord in Bonn. I can’t believe this – why can’t these people move forward and be happy their country isn’t ran by a bunch of terrorist and fudamentalists? Is it too much to ask for them to be the bigger men and be humble about the whole thing?

My main man
Donald Rumsfeld has become my favorite figure in this “War on Terrorism.” He doesn’t make any bones about it – he wants the Taliban out, dead or alive. In fact he went so far as to say “make no mistakes we want them either captured or dead.” Finally, a politician telling it like it is!
US responds to terror
Today the President of the United States authorized attacks against military and al Quaeda installations within the country of Afghanistan. I fully support this move and the humanitarian efforts that are taking place along side the military strikes. I’d like to point out this article. The quote near the bottom is from a 4th grade girl whose father is in the military – “As much as I don’t want my dad to fight I’m willing to give him to you.” The will shown by the American people is amazing, making me proud.
Great quote.
In an article on CNN.com European Commission President Romano Prodi had this to say in support: “In the darkest days of European history, America stood close by us and today we stand close by America.” This not only sends the feeling of a warm hand on the back of America, but ignites profound pride in my country and everything it stands for (not to mention the Greatest Generation to ever live).
Summation
Here is a comment from an Aussie about the recent terrorist attack against the US. I’m glad to know that others feel, as I do, outside of the country.
OMG
As most of you know the World Trade Center is no more, thanks to some coward. I don’t even know what to say in response. Here are some interesting links: Teleban hacked, Palestinians happy (for now), and a news site that is up.
What next?
Here is an interesting story about drug trafficers using bar codes to label drugs. As of now it’s uncertain whether or not it’s used for anything or is a joke of some sort.
Damn Iraq
When is Iraq going to learn that you can’t shoot at US/British planes patrolling the no-fly zones that were set up after we kicked their asses. Give it up. Of course, I’m of the school that thinks we should have taken out Sadam when we had the chance (brings up too many memories of another dictator we ignored).
Too Funny
Here is a story about GM and Microsoft fighting about who’s got better technology.
Pot is (sort of) legal in Canada
Those of you suffering from cancer, ms, and other painful diseases might want to consider a move to Canada. It seems Canada has legalized the use of Pot for “medicinal usage.” I, personally, think we should legalize it completely and tax the hell out of it like we do beer and cigarettes.
