Up until last week I was fine with the way America was voting on American Idol and then you guys went and voted off Jessica Sierra and Nikko. Now, I’m not a huge Nikko fan, but Jessica Sierra was a great singer. So why is this happening? Two words: Anthony Fedorov.
This idiot keeps managing to not only skate by, but actually NOT be in the bottom three? Who the hell votes for a dude who sings a song from “The Sound of Music”. He’s clearly the worst singer. And then there is Scott Savol. Who’s voting for this big mess?
My big problem with this season is that I don’t find myself really rooting for anyone. I have contestants that I like, but none that I truly want to win. Thankfully, there are plenty of idiots to hate right now.
Please vote him off, I can’t stop looking at the tracheotomy hole in his neck. It mesmerizes me.

The right to tell your readers to vote a particular contestant off is certainly protected under the First Amendment, even if it is wrong advice. I think you’ve confused game shows. This is not Survivor, where contestants are voted off (by their competitors). American Idol voters vote to keep their favorite singer. No one actively votes anyone off.
It would be safe to say that Anthony Fedorov hasn’t cornered the market on choosing bad songs. I have lost count this season how many times the judges have commented on bad song choices.
In my opinion, correcting someone’s grammar or spelling is distasteful. With that being said, here’s my view on the “libelous” comment.
Simply put: LIBEL is written and SLANDER is oral communication. If you “say it,” it’s never going to be libelous; it could be slanderous depending upon what’s actually said.
(It is a pure coincidence that my first name starts with S and my last name is Landers: SLANDERS)
Vote Anthony off, his head is too big. America do your duty and vote off the “hole in the neck” guy. Wouldn’t it be ironic to have a russian become the “american idol”?

fedorov’s just ok—he should be glad that he made it this far ’cause he’ll never marshall more support than carrie, vonzell, constantin or bo. that notwithstanding, he is light years ahead of savol (who actually sucks) and is garnering votes from viewers who want to punish simon, be funny (mess with the program, etc.). they’re just prolonging the inevitable—his return to oblivion. it’s laughable that anyone (let alone many) could listen to savol and really enjoy his “performance” more than anwar’s or nadia’s. we can only deduce that the support he receives has no nexus to his “talent”.

It’s one thing to purposefully misuse the language but some of the kids posting “serious” comments to this board are truly poor at grammar and spelling. Anthony Fedorov was the best singer last week. He is so cute, and better than most. Anthony is my idol. Yes, I admit it scared me a little when Constintine and Anthony were the only ones in the bottom three. I was really shocked when Constintine got voted off. But Anthony is still in! Yay!
Anthony’s voice is so bad it makes my ears hurt. It is truly awful. The ONLY way he has been able to last so long is that all the teeny bopper girls in the country vote for him multiple times every week.
The best three singers are Vonzell, Bo and Carrie. Carrie used to be phenomenal every week, but I think lately something has been lacking. My favorite right now is Vonzell, but I would love to see any of those three as Idol.

Ok, I just want to respond to the argument about Anthony being a terrible singer from an experienced point-of-view. I happen to be the choral director for the New Jerset “All-State” choir which showcases some of the best high school voices in New Jersey. I am also a choir director for my local high school. Through the years I have become extremely experienced and I understand all facets of music.
From my point-of-view I can tell you that the only truly talented “American Idol” contestant is Vonzell. As for Anthony, I feel he has very little talent and is terrible in comparison to Anwar and Scott, vocally. Although it is too late at this point because they have been voted off. I despise the ignorance that compels people to vote based on appearance or “feeling bad” for someone. Overall, I feel it is a joke that Anthony is still a potential American Idol and that he is in the final four. I have resolved to not watch American Idol anymore as it only aggravates me when I see no-talent contestants remaining on the show at this point. Thanks.

We get American Idol repeated in the UK and I cannot believe that Anthony Fedrov is still in the competion HOW???, I was shocked to see Anwar & Constantine get booted out over that cheesy guy?
