If you or a roommate is trying to get pregnant or is pregnant, cat feces contains a chemical that can cause serious problems to your unborn child causing mental retardation. This also goes for people who scoop out cat feces and flush it in their toilet. Both cat feces and cat liter have chemicals that are bad for pregnant women. You should stop these practices if you are trying or are pregnant.
